Hmm I think I already may have in another thread, but I'm happy to do so again if people don't mind spam. :cough:

Father's side of the family are tall dark Italians, while Mother's family are redheaded pale-skinned Irish. Both my parents were born in England and moved to the U.S. to get married and have children here.

Half my siblings have red hair and blue or green eyes, the other half have dark hair and eyes (except one brother who has black hair and my mom's gray eyes). I look like my mother and I'm a little short, but still taller than she is; my hair is naturally pure black and my eyes are brown. I'm also very pale-skinned and if my eyes were blue I'd be referred to as a black Irish. (I was quite tickled when I found that Cairhienin look very much like me!)

Cairhienin look like the french, the irish type of skin is a little different generally.

The irish as redhead is actually a myth! Must of us don't look like me, I've been told, but more like my sis. I look like the stereotype, and my sister looks a little more normal with dark hair, paleness and light colored eyes.

@ Kaitlin. Yes, the whole red-headed thing is generally a myth - I can only think of 3 in my year that are red heads. Most are dark haired - even I am, I suppose, I were to stop dying it.

@ Olivia: And yes, sorry, I have a horrible memory. You probably have. I wont remember this in a months time, you know.

I know most aren'y redhaired, but my mother's side of the family is definitely! (Though it's a dark red with brown at the ends, not the bright orange of the stereotype.)
