I have around 200 pages of book 4 left, and all my spare time is being poured into my fan fic right now! Is it in relation to my previous question? Can I get a hint??

Is there any information about the use of the One Power during sex? Is it not advised, or is it something all Aes Sedai do?

Keep it broad (say before Siuan and Moiraine test for the shawl) or before either begins to ever consider the Dragon being Reborn.... and you could pretty much go anywhere with it. Important points to consider: The Aiel War is in full swing, Elaida is much disliked by them, and Tamra Ospenya (former Blue) is the Amyrlin. Gitara Moroso is her Keeper of Chronicles. She's important because she foretells Rands Birth. However that's the start of NS.

 

Other Aes Sedai to consider:

There are a lot and the WOT Encyclopedia Website can give you a lot of info on who studied with Moiraine and Siuan. Friends, enemies, rivals and such.

 

We might have that info here too? Look around.

Without giving too much away, it meets all your suggestions Asmodean. I did about 5000 words over the weekend but obviously had to work today, so I only have a couple of hours to put into it tonight. Have been thinking about it all day though. I'm really keen to get this out there, I just hope it's not terrible

 

Incidentally, I spent a lot of time over the weekend going through wikis, timelines and other WoT info pages to ensure it's believable. I was even reading up on what characters' 'smallclothes' were like in the early hours of this morning lol.

Another question:

 

How is Siuan with healing? I know Moiraine's top notch, but where I'm up to in the series, Siuan hasn't done any of it yet, and some Aes Sedai don't have much skill for it, am I right?

Right. As far as I recall Moiraine is one of the few Aes Sedai who isn't of the yellow Ajah but still can heal like no ones business. Siuan wasn't much of a healer.

Just an update, I'm working on the last scene now, although I've only just started it. If I keep tomorrow evening free, I should finish it then, if not, then definitely the next night

How did Moiraine know where to find Rand et al, or was it just luck?

 

And where do Siuan's talents in the One Power lie?

Siuan was very assertive and something of a stubborn natural in her powers. On top of that she was very good with seeing puzzles and graphs and numbers. This would later help her run a powerful spy network.

 

I don't recall the specifics on Moiraine feeling the need to go to the Two Rivers. Maybe Olivia will recall. I think it's hinted at a few times. I do know it didn't dawn on Moiraine to check there until shortly before going.
