Marie 73
@Kate: That dress is cool... I mean hot... I mean whatever! Can we get a photo of it with you in it? That's me in my current form. Though I'm seriously thinking of cutting my hair again, in which case I'll look like a 12-year-old boy, which is what I've looked like since I was 12 many, many, many years ago till I grew my hair last year. Keep your hair! You look like a 15 year old girl. And smile for once!
Iris 0
aw jan! its you! i have a special affection for you Jan because youre Indian like G 17 although he was born in Canadia (which i can never let him live down like the good red-blooded American i am). i know all about desi-ness, even though G 17 is not very desi. we also had a desi wedding, complete with all the fanfare and drama and extremely heavy overly decked out bridal clothing maybe i can get a pic of that for tonight too. jan you can come to skype too =) you guys that ava was my husband! my Gaidin! that's why it said Gaidin on it! you all thought i was a bearded man masquerading as a woman??? unless youre referring to the cloaked woman (please tell me you are!) we must set the time marie for our mk-ing and thus kaitlin and jan can come to skype too. you pick is Marie. anytime after 9pm CST. Iris 0
alrighty then, i'll be on at like 9:15 (without a stupid wheel this time!)
jan 14
What's CST with respect to GMT? I could look it up, but too lazy... I keep track of the time in Kate's part of the world with a desktop widget. And yes, I did mean the cloaked woman and not the bearded man. although he was born in Canadia I have relatives in Canada! *checks for anyone with "17" in their name*
Marie 73
CST is an hour behind EST (Kate's timezone). It stands for Central Standard Time. I live in MST (Mountain Standard Time) but because this is AZ, we never deal with daylight savings time (other states in MST do). So basically because of daylight savings time I guess I'm really at PST right now.
Iris 0
I have relatives in Canada! *checks for anyone with "17" in their name* jan, you must also have some long lost relative here in Chicago Suburbia. (check for Kumar instead, but i think you'll find too many to sift through ) chicago is the most desi-ified city in the USA! no, they're not Ashaman, its just a desi wedding! (actual in-laws there (and hubby!)) edit: photo removed now that everyone has seen it cause its just weird to leave it up forever
Tosh 8
The guy on the far right doesn't look like hes enjoying himself, but thats probably because he isn't wearing an awesome man-dress like the others. You'd have to be f*cking ecstatic in one of those.
Iris 0
the most happy guy of course is the one who also gets to wear the cool red and gold scarfie around his neck. oh yea and the guy on the far right never smiles. ever. i have officially decide to observe the last two days as ticked off acidic wife days. it feels so bad yet so good. *sends bad vibes through bond* warders are just not meant to be so far from their aes sedai. Olivia 26
Were we attacked by spam bot last night? Edit: @ Liverella: Haha, for a moment I misread that as meaning you were going to spend two days on acid.
jan 14
Eek! Spam attack
Iris 0
haha Olivia! does oregano oil count as acid? because it feels like acid when i drop it on my tonsils because i'm sick (but it sure as heck works!). and now i am appreciating (modern day) Warders, who go out and retrieve items like Motrin and Chicken Mcnuggets for sick Aes Sedai wives and their children (no nugs for me tho). but since mine is gone i had to drag my sick self and my sick kids to Big Kmart and McDonald's to get it myself. *nearly faints from the exertion* bump loading the dishwasher. i am going to lay around and spoil myself tonight. i think part 6 of novices at the tower will be finished and posted. Kaitlin 22
I missed everything! I was driving down to the beach and then having no internet last night. Now I'm here. The wedding's tomorrow. I'll take pictures but I didn't bring the card reader down here! I'll upload when I get back home. And I missed Olivia's picture. There were dolphins close to the shore this morning. I like them and all but I can't get over this feeling that they are probably actually the arseholes of the sea.
Iris 0
yea dolphins are abusive jerks. i saw a show about that once. hope the beach was nice though! i want to see this female rand-spawn in her three-strap dress you didnt really miss it katie. i showed it to marie after we mariokarted, but jan and i have scheduled a viewing today at 4pm CST (if her deadline nerves have not made her braindead ) i'm at home sick so ill just leave my skype on if you want to IM me and see friend of mine (girl!) is supposed to sleep over tonight (non-PF way!). i was so looking forward to super girly fun slumber party-ness but now i've got the remains of this sore throat. oregano is helping tho. i think just a few more tonsil-singes and it will be dead
