Did Moiraine just skip to the good parts in romance novels or did she try to read the whole book?

 

What kinds of books do you think she'd read? What would she like if she were in this time? Or would she not read at all and just tivo House and American Idol?

She'd read those nonfiction books you usually get assigned in college that no one likes to read except professors, the authors, and Moiraine. Also, kinky romance novels. But not Twilight.

I think she would like Rachel Maddow. And watch government meetings televised on public stations. Well, yeah CSPAN.

 

She would watch French and Saunders. And read kinky french romance novels. There seems to be a theme but I did not intend it.

Being the work-minded gal she is, I think Moiraine would immediately pick up "How to Train Your Dragon" in the bookstore, but then disappointedly put it back once she realized it had nothing to do with what she needed.

I don't see her reading anything other than boring history/nonfiction "high" literature sorts of things.

 

As for romance, I think she'd tough out the majority of the book, if she didn't find it entirely frivolous to begin with.

I think she reads stuff about young, virile pirates. It doesn't matter that there are no pirates! There are men from Illian and that is close enough.
