So I came back (after 2 years) and wondered who the hell wanted to talk about the show and then realised it was...me. I forgot that before it actually came out I was low key obsessed with how the show would turn out, *sigh* well that didn't last long.

Do we think the wigs will have improved in season 2?...Nah.

Why is it, that whenever a female character is in need of punishment, or degredation or just something to alter her character arc, she ends up being f*****g raped? Like I have sooo many issues with this, even if it is "mind rape." I think it helps when you know an actress, and feel like they could master the character. Which I feel for Sophie Okonedo, but don't feel at all for Rosamund Pike. The rest I just don't know enough to judge.

I don't really want to comment on the "woke" side of it, I just...some of the casting choices I don't understand at all. And I don't think they had the actors audition against one another, which makes me wonder about how well they'll actually gel together as a cast once on screen.

So Sophie Okonedo has been formally cast as Siuan. She is a good actress, and I can actually see her in this role so it's a first for me. Kae Alexander has also been cast as Min, which is a selection I am slightly less enamored with. But we shall see.
