While on such things, and maybe I should start a new thread on this but has anyone seen the Anime Ergo Proxy? And if so, is it any good? I saw the opening credits and I thought they were pretty cool.

Hmmm, two thoughts from me. One, Elaida dealt with Bryne on a fairly regular basis while in Andor, so she may think that he might support her as they have a past at least in so far as they have worked together.
She at least knows he'd be a good choice for capt of her guards.
She MIGHT have the hots for him... but that would go against what we've seen of her thus far. As she is a red through and through MEN don't seem of much use to her.... but anything is possible in RJ world!

Wait? What's the concern here? Somehow I doubt any innocence from anyone after the leaving of Immonds Field. Moiraine's done her thing. And as far as the forehead gem concern, maybe it's somehow rigid from a sliver of the power, or it's light and tight enough not to matter. Now as far as what's under the skirt?

(Strum of the Harp) Hmmm, sad and desolate, yes. However it was very well written and took a number of twists and turns I didn't forsee coming in. It also brought members of the site I've not yet seen post (at least not in some time) Well done. When the icecaps melt, the oceans go stagnant, and earthquakes reface the planet... I suppose some post apocalypse sex might be in order!

I first listened to EoTW on CD. It made getting through the drag easier. There was a bit in that book.

Actually we do see Luc. When he steps into the real world to kill who he thinks is Min and Rand he becomes Luc as a show of dark irony, Rands Uncle killing him.

Hi again everybody. Myself like Ajit have been super swamped and left with little down time to visit my favorite Moiraine's World (as there is only this one).
I had a job interview with Sesame Street that seemed to go well... but they went with someone else. Oh well, next time.
For some viewing pleasure I finally put some of my work on youtube. My reel has some bits from the AIDS documentary I've been working on. The rest can stand as evidence of my geekness! I had a strange dream. I was Semirhage (going from being a white guy to a black woman) and I was ripping up a hospital.... crazy creepy, I know. But I was ALSO the people trying to get away (which oddliy included the casts of HOUSE, SCRUBS AND ER.)
Don't know where it came from, but Semirhage quickly shot up to one of my favorite Forsaken when she killed the Seanchan royal court. That was a shockingly hardcore moment. Instantly pulled me into the KoDs!

An interesting point Tosh brought up about Medieval world. If you look and listen to much of the Forsaken's view points one can find that this WoT world is in fact OUR world in the DEEP DEEP future.
The Age of Legends is described really as a time of human understanding of uncharted elements of our brains (touching the one power, tapping the untappable) Then came the Breaking.
Semirhage lamented "glow Blubs" in the LoC and Messana mentioned "lifts" to Alviarin. So it's kind of like the High Middle ages after the fall of the Roman Empire. I found this school of thought to be kind of cool. Though I digress.
