I found the most hidious thing I had to wear! The suit I wore to baptism! The slacks were a size to small, the shirt was too long(tucking it in was a nightmare, imagine stuffing your pants at age 8, I thought I looked more than ridiculous), and the tie, don't get me started on the tie!

Catholic. Late baptism. My parents were different religions when I was born. Slowed the process. Six kids is because for some odd reason I love infants and small children.

My dad's family is Catholic. He keeps saying he'll take me to a Catholic service, but he hasn't done that in...oh, almost 21 years.

Since we are on the topic of religion, can someone explain the difference between a church and a chapel to me?!

Yes, and it is used more for quiet reflection, prayer, and adoration of the Eucharist. In this area most chapels are within the building of the church, or quite close by. Sisters tend to like to use them for their Masses early in the mornings. Also, many churches have moved the confessionals into them nowadays.

I think that happens often tho; children brought up in a certain religion, then when they grow up, they either don't believe it or find another one. It's like that for my sister and me.

its one of the things you do have a choice about, once you get old enough to understand properly.my parents aren't that religious either, so they aren't too fussed, so i'm lucky!

My parents are deeply religious. Me....not so much so. But not being at home anymore, I can be!
