I always picture Moiraine locked up in a dark room having a mental freak out. She didn't like the Finnland too much, even when she wasn't there for a long period of time. I can only imagine how she'd fare after months.

Well actually nobody knows how does time flow in their world, right? So what's in the book year and a half (book 5-10) maybe much shorter period there.

Time does flow differently, what feels like only a few minutes is actually seven days. So I would imagine being gone for a year would mean she would have to have been gone a couple of months. After all, their months only have 28 days, and since each week has ten days, months pass a bit fast on their calander.

Their 10day-weeks always confused me... i remember that somewhere in one of the glossaries all was explained but i don't remember where.

If few minutes are seven days and the year has... lets say 400 days then she would have spent only a day there!

But I'm not sure that the timeflow is restricted, what if the other way around is possible too?

That would be awful. She could possibly have been there hundreds of years in her estimate.

So what exactly is the Snake and Fox game and how do you have to cheat to win? I vaguely remember reading about that, that you had to cheat to win...but I can't remember what the acutual game is. Does it even ever say?

Yes and No It's based mainly on suggestions and your theorie is possible. In the World Of Deams (which name I cannot spell in english), one minute may be a day somewhere else and the other way around. In some of the worlds reachable only by the Portal Stones a lifetimes equals only minutes in the 'real' world. So if there is a time difference I believe it's going to be either few minutes - days or the opposite. If it's the opposite Moiraine will grow old...

So it is quite possible that in the Finn world only a day has passed...

I think more than a day has passed. I think time moves slower in Finnland but not that much slower.

I agree with marie here. Time from the *finn world is not directly related to Randland. When Rand entered Rhuidin (sp ??) lets not forget that he spent quite some time in the crystal Ter'angreal that showed him the past through his ancestors' eyes.
