Yes it would be such a bad thing, most aes sedai who are stilled go mad or kill themselves and I'd much rather that didn't happen to moiraine:P

She wouldn't go mad or kill herself. How many countless times was she injured or thrown into serious danger? She was running everywhere channeling until she practically dropped in EotW and then got tortured a bit by the Forsaken at the end and still she didn't roll around moaning about herself. Stilling's much worse than that, but I still think she could handle it better than most.

 

I don't want that to happen, but if it does she would make use of whatever her new situation is.

Also, from the story POV, a non-channelling momo would not serve much purpose except to tie off the love angle with thom. I believe RJ would'nt bring her back just for that. She will have a major role to play both strategy-wise as well as on the battlefield.

I agree with Ajit there would be no decent reason to bring moiraine back stilled, I'm still convinced she'll come back with some new knowledge that will help in the last battle.

Actually, I did not mean she would be able to channel when she will be rescued. But she will be healed by an ashaman.

I'm not sure I like the "healed by ashaman bit" ;-). Doesn't one of Min's viewing say something that may possibly point to Mo having something to do with the final battle?

She's odd, isn't she. I don't know why I felt it important to post about that, but there you go.

 

I hope the Finn haven't messed with Mo too much either. I still think that she's in serious danger there because she plopped in with a Forsaken, and their rules are already not applying to her. They hate the DO.

 

What if she comes back able to channel.. but blind or something awful like that? She'd have to learn to channel a different way. *hates that idea*

I don't think you can channel blind since I'm sure it says somewhere that you have to be able to see the weaves. Although hopefully something like that could be cured if it does happen

It never occurred to me that she would be in any danger...wouldn't the finns be able to tell the difference between a 'goody' and a 'baddie'? And know what Moiraine done was, in fact, rather noble and not be too mean to her?
