I'm curious who everyone thinks is the most beautiful female character in wot. Im not including Lanfear in this since she is quite obviously the most beautiful character in the series.

Any ideas as to who is the most attractive male character is welcome as well:D

Both Lauras refuse to lose. Moiraine/Elayne are naturally more beautiful than the average girl. Moiraine was considered that way during training in the Tower: no hairdressers there either. I think how pretty Egwene is depends on if you want her for a wife. She doesn't surpass Mo&Lay (oh how I love nicknames), but she isn't far behind, and maybe even on the same level.

 

It's so Oprah of me, but personality makes people more beautiful (or less so) to me so it's hard for me to judge someone based soley on looks: Since after I get to know them I see their looks differently. I always thought Myrelle was pretty, and Leane sexy. Tuon has to be damn hot to get Mat committed.

 

So. I'll say Galad is the most beautiful of them all! *nods*

Men (and women!) notice Moiraine a lot more then they seem to notice a lot of the other older women that are either Aes Sedai or not. Except - they still notice Morgase too. Egwene is supposed to be very lovely, and Leane too.

 

Liandrin is very beautiful, but she was such a baddie that her personality soured her. I think Semirhage sounds very pretty too, but she scares me a lot!

 

I'm not sure about the men! Um, how about .. er.. that other guy that wasn't the old one in NS? Of course, since Galad could be a lady or a man he can't count for either one! Galad's just in a class by himself.

I am not sure if she would be called pretty or even beautiful, but she is always referred to as a tall, lithe, graceful person.

People, ALL the women in these books are pretty!!

the only character RJ has decribed as ugly is SILVIE! and she wasnt even a real person and only existed for a scene!

 

Seriously, RJ has this thing: all the women are young and gorgeous: all the men are older and many not as good-looking, but the young gorgeous women still fall in love with them middle-aged male fantasy.

Selene was beautiful when she was around. Granted, she was Lanfear in disguise...but small point.

 

Ellid, the Accepted in the white tower who tragically died...she was supposed to prettiest out of all the Novices and Accepteds (<----I don't think thats a real word, but oh well), if memory serves.
