Whatever the men feel, they would act more like Loial and do the chores firstly. We read a lot from the stubborn sorts of men in the series, which are mainly the three boys. It's hard to remember that the vast majority of people don't act like our main characters.

Right now it's hard to figure out who the "main characters" are! That's one thing that really annoys me about WoT - the net got spread too wide.

Yes, there's maybe fifty of them, and they keep increasing!

 

I mainly think of the Two Rivers folk, Lan, Moiraine, Thom, the people who are now lovers of any of those, plus some Aes Sedai like Caddy and some assorted others.

 

It might be too wide of a definition, but it helps to sort the other supporting ones who are not as important but are somewhat like each other.

 

 

I think Perrin had the hots for Mo much earlier than Rand (ick). She's way too much of a woman for him, though, and too clever.
