I wonder if the sisters were all close enough in age to play together at all? That is odd to think about! Just picture three little Moiraine-esque girls all sitting around and arguing who would get to be the dog in Cairhienin Monopoly. Or, would they play Stratego?

I imagine they would have been close in age...well, two of them. Meaning the oldest two would have been close and the youngest two, but the youngest and the eldest were probably just far enough apart for them to not have much in common.

*nods* That makes sense.. and that was Taringail anyway, wasn't it?

Yeah Taringail was the oldest, I never thought moiraine was very close to either of her sisters, when she talked about them in NS it always seemed as if they never got along well with each other

No. He's a hard one to get along with - always wanting power and being very spoiled like his uncles.

I was talking about the three girls. I think Taringail was old enough to not care about any of his sisters.

Yes, I was wondering if it was just about the girls, or oldest as in Taringail too. Inn has had babies by the time Momo's in the Tower... yes, she could possibly be older than Mo by a bit.

Yes I would imagine Innloine to be at least five years older, and usually with an age gap of that size the siblings aren't that close

It depends on the type of closeness. Siblings of 10 years apart can be very close, but not the playmate type of close. When they are both adults also, age makes less and less difference. For example, my sister is 10 years older than I, yet she is my closest sibling.

I think it varies depending on the personalities of the siblings involved

*nods* My sister and I are six years apart. I am six years younger than my cousins. My cousins are twelve years older than my sister and that seemed to make them just old enough to view her as cute and cuddly, whereas I was just the right difference to view my sis as irratating when young, as my cousins did with me. My oldest cousin had a daughter when I was twelve, and I ended up treating her as cute and cuddly, whereas my sister fought with her.
