Aes Sedai I knew because it is Celtic sounding and reminded me of Sidhe, which I always pronounced wrongly!

I pronounced Siuan's name correctly.. but my father gave me a synopsis of the books before I started reading them when I was little, and he was at least a book ahead of me at all times. He must have looked in the glossary to find out the correct way to say it. Otherwise I'd probably say it, "See-u-ahn". I still say Nyn's name wrongly though. It sounds Russian when I do! rolleyes.gif

I know RJ has done lots and lots of pronunciations at book signings, and that people have made recordings of him doing them sometimes!

We should make a sticky of a thread of all of the pronunciations in the book section. I nominate Olivia for finding the audios of RJ speaking them, and also for looking in his blogs to find what he's written about them! Anyone second that nomination? :P If you do it, Olivia, just make a post in Books and I'll sticky it. We can add new pronunciations if you can't find them all. *makes work* :(

So, I wonder if that truly is the reason why I can't find Momo fic, or if it's just that people don't write enough! No, I refuse to believe I've read all there is. :P

There was some sort of mass agreement that poor Olivia be put in charge of documenting the sound recordings of Robert Jordan.

I assumed it was because Olivia is our resident WoT encyclopedia *doffs hat* that she got nominated for said duty. Take it as a compliment! (Though you don't have to actually do it...) :P

Olivia, you have a problem with it? But, you are so good at looking things up. :P It's all things that people have found or have heard of before.. otherwise how would we know that they exist?

I suppose it would be easiest just to paste links for the audio files.. not hotlinking or anything.. just link to the site page where they are located to be downloaded. And the other stuff could be copy/pasted into a post. You do it all the time! Don't worry. :)
