Before I knew how bad Everclear was when I was pretty young I took a fair swallow of it from an airplane sized bottle. It burned and I coughed and coughed and was hot, but felt fine right after. A minute later I was walking around talking about how fine I felt when all of a sudden I got completely and utterly drunk, and fell over onto the bed (in my room with friends). I couldn't even move at first. They all found it quite funny. /story

The best thing to do, Mea, is pretend to be very interesting in doing something far away from them like they suggested and hope they don't notice. And maybe have an aspirin.

Heh, No you can't OVERDOSE... but the bleeding stomach is certainly a strange and not altogether pleasant sensation. I recommend downing water to rehydrate yourself, then take a (small amount) of ibuprofen or aspirin. That's me anyway. The more water you go to bed on the less acute the hangover. Though be careful there too. Too much water will make you puke just as fast.

I have it from a reliable source that an english breakfast is best cure for hangovers.

Yes yes but what I meant was its not going to mess you up to take aspirin when under the influence of alcohol. Why you would want to take aspirin while under the influence of alcohol is a different matter.

I mean christ, people mix drugs like cocaine and ecstacy with alcohol. They are f*cking crazy and not just a little bit stupid but they're not going to increase the harm already being done to their bodies by much.

Well, it's true, they don't recommend taking aspirin because of bleeding, ibuprofen, or acetaminophen because of potential liver damage while you are drinking - and none of us are doctors so you should really not take any medical advice to heart.

What I was talking about, though, was a single aspirin presumably when you wake up in the morning after having been drunk. (I didn't say that but should have!) They also say tomato juice helps. And dark sunglasses.

Oh I meant in reasonable amounts. There really is no reason to take more than two, unless you have a greatly increased tolerance. I just like being overly dramatic.
