Random has nothing to do with Rand whatsoever.

*smashes champagne bottle on the new Random thread*

^ Apparently that custom evolved from a Viking tradition of putting blood on the prow of their new ships. (Don't quote me on that though, I'm not 100% certain.)

I'm about! I just had big exciting things happen in my world. I'm head editor to a documentary film called Tiny Tears about AIDS orphans across the world. It premiered Thursady at the United Nations! I'm so overjoyed to the point of bursting. There's a trailer on Youtube. Right now we're working on distribution for it.

But the last three weeks has left me sleepless with work so I' apologize for not sweeping in that much. Forsaken Love to all!

That is terrific! I'm off now to check out your trailer! ;P:hug:

Moiraine's World has a group on last.fm. *hums* So far it is not many of us!

It's like "What are you listening to" but we can hear samples of each other's stuff!

I'm Thom on there... so that Niklas can have a "male" friend. *giggle* But that is my music. *blush*

*lonely sings*

Thats great! That sounds really....fun?

Is it tastefully done? Because some of the similar movies I've seen seem to be less informative and helpful and more just a way to make people feel like shit about one thing or another, to the point where it doesn't even seem like a documentary anymore.

I mean reality is brutal and if you are going to make a movie about a real issue you have to show this, but the point of making a movie about it must be to convey a message no?

You can't just go: DEAD CHILDREN! DIEING CHILDREN! DEAD PARENTS OF DIEING CHILDREN! FLIES IN FACE! The End...

Nope, it takes a very different approach. That's what I found attractive in the first place. It's about meeting real people who keep a smile on their face despite their circumstances. It's really all about hope born from tradgy which reveals these loving people giving help and support to those who have none at day one. The film is really very heart warming.
