Why Thom is a better Pillowfriend

Recommended Posts

Hmmm, Yes! I second that. Otherwise she'd have thrown Rand into a lake every time he was rude.... So in effect he would've spent the 2nd through the 5th books underwater.

Well, he did have a fetish for lakes!

I like grown up Mo too. It actually took a bit of time for me to appreciate the younger her, so it was the other way around. I think she seems like she's matured to the point where it's more important for a lover to know how to play the Game, handle messy situations, and isn't a DF. *looks at Thom suspiciously* :P

I don't see anything bad with that

What's interesting is how much more mature Big Momo is about some things, but how she still really is Little Momo about others. I wonder what Little Moiraine would think of Thom.

I wish we could have gotten to read what RJ wanted to write about with those other prequels. :P

edit: Also... Lan is exactly the same. There is no Little Lan.

Well he was born with a sword.

Yeah, the Power-wrought sword was one of the "gifts" he was given before his parents died (I think the others were his locket with his parents' images, his royal ring, and his oath as consecrated king). He was officially given it on his tenth birthday though, if memory serves, which he notes was several years early.
