What would Moiraine wish for from the Eelfinn?

For some reason it has never occurred to me that Moiraine would make any sort of wish, probably because I figured foxes would be too ticked at her for destroying their doorway to grant her any. But then, if they are able to fool her and set their own price, then it might be worth it to them. Honestly, I have no idea what she would wish for in any case. You know except "I wish to be fed" and "I wish to not be fed human flesh".

Hm, good question. I wonder if the same "no wishes connected to the Shadow" rule applies there, as it does with questions to the Snakes. If it doesn't, then you'd think Moiraine would just wish for Rand to defeat the DO successfully or some other such wish that would aid their quest. If that rule does apply, then I dunno. You'd think she'd wish for her rescue to be successful, or to be more powerful, or something. *turns up nose and refuses to admit she would wish for anything related to Thom*

 

By the way, she still owes Thom those Red Ajah names she promised him in TSR! She never gave them to him, did she? Too busy writing wuv leters.

Well the most obvious wish would probably be to be kept alive. That pretty much ensures she won't be food or leather.

 

Apart from that I'm not sure, probably something that would benefit the world

Not really. They could cut her limbs off, keep her alive, and still have turned a part of her into food and/or leather.

 

I wonder if there are restrictions on the wishes: the snakes could only tell you about yourself so do the foxes only grant personal wishes too?

I never even considered dismemberment...so maybe she wished to be alive and with fully functional limbs. Not sure if that would be one or two wishes

It's tricky because the Finn react so badly to anything having to do with the Dark One. Or is that just the Snakey Finn who have a problem?

Every time I think of the Foxes I think of that one that was Mat's guide all caressing his leather clothes trying to draw attention to them. So that's how I picture them: feeling themselves up. Creepy little bastards. But I imagine they have similar restriction as Snakes.
