OK so I was thinking this before I found out about marriage spoiler, but the first guy to give Kate and I info was all "romance is implied" but I was like, you also said they talk about their feelings in front of Mat so...what is there to imply? I realized he must have meant romance=sexy happy times and considering this latest revelation I think that was a safe conclusion to make.

I love Moiraine/Lan scenes.
Like in book three when Moiraine finds out that Faile intends to follow them and she goes all Ice Queen on the boat and Faile is just like
and everyone is stepping lightly around them, Lan stands in a corner laughing to himself. When Moiraine asks him if he finds something funny he is just like "Yeah". They are such a brother and sister pair. -
For some reason it has never occurred to me that Moiraine would make any sort of wish, probably because I figured foxes would be too ticked at her for destroying their doorway to grant her any.
But then, if they are able to fool her and set their own price, then it might be worth it to them. Honestly, I have no idea what she would wish for in any case. You know except "I wish to be fed" and "I wish to not be fed human flesh". -
I searched before work for info on Thom and his ~lady~ but it seems most of those who got the book early do not realize how important their love is. I did glean that they talk about their feelings for each other. In front of Mat.

And Olver doesn't die. His whole "tragic" plotline is apparently only really heartbreaking if you are a wuss like that. I don't know what it is, but I am disappointed. Kind of was hoping for some DRAMA.

Anyway Elayne becomes queen of Cairhien which I suspected given when Moiraine reappears. I don't know if I can make myself read that part: I just don't think Elayne deserves two kingdoms when she can barely handle one and sucks at the Game of Houses. *bitter*
