  1. He might have meant prime just as in he was at the peak of his career success and everything was going good. That, and for men their primes extend more than women's it seems. Besides, Morgase is the one who said Thom was twice her age when they were knocking boots. Not to mention, RJ was probably biased :|

In other words, yes Moiraine is grooving on old man pedo Thom. :D

  2. Let's say Thom was 70 in the first book. Moiraine was 42.

Ok. Well, there is a math problem to help you know if someone is too young. Half your age plus seven.

    (70/2)+7=42

    It is so perfect!

Edit: But that would mean Nynaeve was 5.5 years too young for Lan. :|

  3. It's because she finds it hard to believe Galad is not envious of Gawyn's position and assumes he is going to do something "evil" to her brother :| . To me there seems perhaps some insecurity there on her part, recognizing that it wasn't meant for her mother to be queen originally but Galad's. I mean her logic is really stupid no matter how you look at it and I loved when Siuan told her she wasn't putting up with that nonsense when Elayne started on her "he's not my brother!" trip.

It warms me that Morgase seems to genuinely love Galad and sees that he needs that love more than the other two, being abandoned by his mother and having Taringail as a father and all. At least she raised one of the kids to not be an idiot!

  4. Shock.

I can always count on you.

Well! Yes, Nynaeve; I can't say she'll be "pleased". First she semi-wished for Moiraine's death, Moiraine "dies" and her first thought is "Yay! Lan's free! :siuandance: " so then she felt guilty. And now she is kind of missing Moiraine so yeah, the only word I can think of to describe their reunion would be "awkward".

Lan...actually I can see him being a bit angry and bitter. I mean, she kind of sent him through the whole Warder-Death-Spiral thing.

I'm not sure why I put Elayne in there. I guess I just really really really want her and Moiraine to act like family. :thommoi:

  5. Where can this be downloaded? Pooo

    I got mine off Amazon.

I found the prologue very exciting. Over the years WoT prologues seemed to get longer and longer, but this one was very quick paced. No idea on actual page length since I read on a phone screen, but even then it was great!

One thing I don't like? Going so far back in time. We already know Galad meets Morgase thanks to TGS, so this whole being taken by the Questioners episode feels a bit melodramatic; clearly he'll survive the ordeal. Also, Perrin's whole "I hate being a lord!" thing is getting a bit old now.
