"Oh Light... you're... killing me... Siuan!" Gareth's face was red and contorted with pain. Siuan did not pay much attention to the complaints, but pulled the corset strings even harder, putting a booted foot in the other man's back for leverage.
"Blood and..." Gareth whined.
"Fine!" Siuan let go of the strings, mercilessly sending Gareth flying into the desk, where he banged his forehead before sinking to the floor.
He sat up immediately and let Siuan inspect the wound.
"It's not too bad. You've got a thick skull and you're barely bleeding."

I always thought it would be revealed that Tam and Gareth are half brothers or something, and that's why Tam left the two rivers while nobody else did XD They're described almost identically for one thing. Blocky with broad, bluff faces. Lot's of b:s there! B for Bryne? No, that's farfetched.

It's because his head is far too big for a man who's said to be above 6 feet tall. He's only 7 heads tall, which makes him about the height of Nynaeve
Also, the perspective is askew, so the woman would actually be taller if they stood side by side. -

I finally remembered to check wotmania.com again. The cover art has been announced on Brandon Sanderson's blog.
I usually detest the covers, but this isn't too bad.
The UK cover art is flashier, but I normally have to settle with the US paper backs because they are cheaper and have thinner pages so they don't take up as much space.

Well, Mo is pretty much Gandalf so of course she had to "die" dramatically and return later on (in a super amazing upgraded form?!?). But because she's a feeble woman she needs some strong men to get her back *sigh*
Thom is also Gandalf!
He "died" in book one to defend "the hobbits" from the forces of evil. But he returned weaker XD Limping onward in his quest to save everyone. -
Except from looking nothing like Myrelle - what's up with the eyebrows? D: They look like they've been shaved in the middle.

They do not make very good followers because they are too "take charge". They may be unwilling to obey or submit to directions for which they can see no reason, or with which they disagree. They are much concerned with self, both positively and negatively - self-reliant but also self centered (sometimes) and concerned with their own personal advancement and physical satisfaction. Their immense energy makes them aggressive and restless, argumentative occasionally, headstrong, quick tempered, easily offended and capable of holding grudges if they feel themselves affronted.Lan - ??? I have to re-read New Spring.
