I'm sorry I started this thread without posting an image right away. Now I've at least started on a Bryne portrait to get things running. I haven't used any reference picture yet. We were putting up the Christmas tree today, but before we could get it inside my brother had to saw off some of the bottom. The entire tree came crashing down on my head when he was done and scratched my forehead. Blood!

Bus drivers are up even earlier driving other people to work. And my uncle used to work in the woods, always many miles away from home at different places, at about 5am.
Nurses usually start at 6 or 7 too. I get up between 5:30 and 5:50 (depending on if I have deserved to be five minutes late or not) to get to college in time when class starts 8:30. Luckily it's not even close to every day.

I think most of the images in the old thread have been deleted one way or another, so I start fresh.
My brain "snapped" about a month ago and I can suddenly draw from reference pictures. I've also changed software and bought many different sorts of pencils, so I can make better stuff. Loosely based on a discussion from the other thread, I'm planning to somehow merge Frank Zappa and Sam Elliot for a Thom portrait.
What is the most recent idea for a cast list? If anybody has a clue, it would be a fun project and good exercise for me. You could also drop ideas right here. I can merge different actors (or other people who occur on pictures and have to live with it) to make the most perfect representation.

Possession and dependence CAN be quite complex. That cat wants to OWN me because she's depending on me for food. That's what all the cuddling is really about. She's branding me as hers and gets jealous if I smell of other cats. In human eyes I'm the owner, but I know better than that. I'm a her servant, but a dominant one. I could easily harm her if I didn't have mental blockers and thought we have some sort of friendship. On some levels it makes me feel like a bourgeoisie working man.

I didn't have Internet access at home until I was 18, so in all of my teens my "friends" were communicating behind my back, going to places without my knowing, and they never answered if I texted them, because MSN is free and phones are not.
Imagine the summers! The worst thing was having to explain it all the time and getting odd stares. Love. Only my cat has ever shown that feeling towards me. Bless that furry creature.
It's all a mix of possession and dependence, though. Says a lot about humans.
