Ten years!

Bonjour, tout le monde!

 

This month marks ten years since Moiraine's World debuted on Geocities. Yay.

 

Originally we were going to have a month long celebration, but alas, time got ahead of us. So! Instead it will just have to be done piecemeal. Which means the party lasts that much longer, am I right?

 

Phase one of Moiraine Fun is pretty simple: every ten posts made between May 1st and June 4th counts as an entry into a drawing. The prize will either be a silver Great Serpent ring (or something more manly for the butcher sex), a shirt from Ta'veren Tees, Amazon giftcard, or iTunes giftcard.

 

Everyone is eligible excluding myself, Jan, and Kate. Yes, even Vertex can win. And all posts made in the time frame are eligible.

I love every bit of this lovely forum, from to the craziness and crack theories, to the Mo/Thom vs Mo/Siuan shipping wars, to the other fandom chatter/squeeing, to the Nottiness, to the comfort and appreciation of each other, to all the random, enjoyable FUN we all have, to the ... the... I'm on pain meds right now and suffering from a lack of sleep, so bear with me! Thank you all for having me these last few years, I'm looking forward to more! Group hug, for the love-loves!

Yeah, I will I just have to focus my attention to more pressing matters (like that blasted proposal)...... honestly, it's turning me into a ... a ...

I thought it best to maybe start keeping a tally now instead of waiting until the end. Trying to be productive!

 

Anyway...Vertex is currently in the lead. Go figure. Of course it is a drawing versus an outright competition but, yeah, he's a posting fiend.
