Just for the record, I had disappeared because I couldn't access the forum and not because Mea was chasing me. (Not that I'm not terrified of Mea... )

 

I'm sure Moiraine will be rescued naked. Lan can carry her back too if he wants (like after Rhuidean!). It might spark off some interesting Nynaeve reactions too! All-round entertainment!

I don't see why she would be rescued naked. She went through with enough clothes on. Time seems to pass a lot more slowly there, so she might not even be stinky.

I doubt Moiraine at her stinkiest would be as stinky as the average person anyway. Maybe she had to cut up her clothes to make little bandages for bruised knees or something though. Then, she could be naked.

There's no need to take any stinky risks. (We are assuming Finn-land is no-deo land!)

 

Alternatively, maybe she gave away her clothes from the kindness of her heart to some Finn-land waif with no clothes?!

That could be, janny! Maybe some poor big eyed foxy child was wandering around without any human kilt to keep warm, and Moiraine decided to give up her dress out of the kindness of her heart as well as being generally crafty in saving her own skin.

 

Back on topicish - if Moiraine did end up being the queen (whether or not you think she should be) what do you think some of her proclamations and rule type things would be?

I'm not sure what she would set as law, but I would hope she would follow Rand's lead with the school idea and run with it in a slightly different direction. Establishing centers of learning for children (and adults who need it) because a country is only as strong as its weakest citizen.

Marie should be Queen! That would solve a lot of problems.. Momo not wanting to be being the main one. *obviously loves the idea of a school for children*

I would name her my heir! Or at least her offspring. If I was Rand, I'd tell her "Be queen or bear my babies!" Let's see how she likes that!

I don't think she would ever be the monarch of cairhien once she comes back. She would prefer to live in anonymity with Thom to the end of her days.

With the way Rand is virile, all he would have to do is wink in poor Mo's general direction for her to spawn his redheaded seed.

 

It's better to just have Marie as Queen. No need to threaten Momo.

I really don't see the point in him wanting momo to have their kids ?
