Least Favorite Character and Why

I think I can finish her thought for her, but correct me if I am wrong!

 

Perrin considers other people to be selfish if they do not "do what they have to do" and accept their duty/destiny like he has.

 

and YET when Faile gets kidnapped, Perrin goes through a total reversal and becomes everything he thought was wicked. He can even be quoted as saying "All the Pattern can burn" and he would not care, if he could not find Faile, and even that he would "sell his soul" to get her back. He even went to Seanchan for help!! It's obvious he was desperate.

 

I for one was disappointed by their reunion. All he does is hug her for a few moments, and then he is away from her and back off to his "duty" just like he was before. Both he, Rand, Lan, and a few others and much more concerned with their supposed duties and responsibilities that they lose track of what really matters to them, and what it means to be in love and be human.

I probably like Perrin the least as well...but I don't really hate any of the boys. I rarely hate characters, but I do tend to get annoyed with the author if he writes them into too mushy or cliche scenes.

I never really disliked Perrin I just found him so boring, whereas with Rand I just never liked him

I don't like Perrin in the last two books at all. He was always one of my least favorites, but there is nothing for me to like about him now. Rand is annoying, but I still care about what happens to his character at the end in a way. Lan is boring to me now, but I like Nynaeve even more.

Beginning to read book 5, so: Elaida. >.<

Maybe she'll change later or something... but I doubt it.

 

If Nynaeve would be less bossy, and Egwene less... well, Egwene, I'd like them both a bit more.
