My sis has seen something. She is very sensible and I completely believe that she actually did see something. She told me once that there was something she wanted to tell me. It was a thing that was frightening her, but she wouldn't say.

We were at dinner with my parents some months later and they started telling this story of something I saw when I was little. I remembered, and went into detail about what I thought it looked like. My sister went extremely pale and had to leave the table. Later, she told me about what she saw, and it was the same, only she had seen more of it and it would not go away. She never said a word about it again.

I believe in ghosts (yes, I am very silly, I know this); maybe something of a soul is left behind after the transition into death.

I've never seen an actual ghost, as in a transparent vision of a person, or whatever you interpret them as, but I have seen some srange things I couldn't explain, and they stay with me through my dreams for years.

*screams!* Oh, it's only Nik... I thought it was Tour Guide Barbie.. ;P

Do you think it is like some religions... where if you believe in a thing it is more likely to effect you? If Levvy believes in ghosties maybe she will be more likely to see them?

I can't really stay impartial. I do not believe that I saw anything as a little kid, but that maybe I had a nightmare. It seemed very much like I was awake, and I didn't actually wake up or get that sensation... but little kids can get scared of normal things and make them seem wickeder. ;P But, I'm certain my sis did see something, and it was just that my story reminded her of something that was there!

On the Outer Banks, where I used to live, strange things happened so often to people that no one immediately discounted a story of a ghostie! It definitely had a very sad feeling about the whole place, and sort of pissed too. It's called the graveyard of the atlantic because ships were sunk all over there from the pirates, and also a colony and two tribes all killed each other- or at least they all disappeared - nobody knows really. So, maybe there aren't ghosties.. but all the accumulated death and badness stuck around. :P

When my sister was little, she was very ill once, and she says she saw something that flashed a green light at her! My mother thinks she was just hallucinating, but who knows...

I think if you don't believe in ghosts then you are more likely to look for a rational explanation to what you saw, whereas if you believe you just accept it. I'm not sure if I believe in ghosts, the logical part of me says they dont exist but Id still love for them to be real

Lol, I sort of know what you mean. ;P

My Great Grandmother was called a witch! She said that my Great Grandfather could heal people, but that he didn't admit things very much! He was very sensitive and liked to listen to people, and I guess that's why she said it. He had a beautiful singing voice. :P I remember being in their house, and how all the neighbors would stop by the kitchen, and everything was very nice, but odd with all of the crystals everywhere and the books, and the odd rooms that went nowhere!

I do think it's pretty nifty, because they did all that before it became culturally acceptable to be a bit New Agey.

I belive in ghosts! I saw one when I was younger. I was out with some other kidds and we walked past a house that we called the "ghost house". I stoped to look at it for a while and suddenly I saw a woman, who was all white and transparent, walk out thrugh the door of the house next to the ghost house, without opening it, and then dissapearing. I know that it doesn't sound realistic with a white and transparant ghost but thats what I saw.

Something else has happened too that was even scarier but I can't talk about that.
