Playboy?

Here is the tricky thing! Only barbie like girls gets to be in PlayBoy... and that's why most girls goes all "PlayBoy is so bad! Girls(read I) doesn't look like that!" but secretly it is just because they don't get to be naked.

Maybe they are right though, but average woman in average ages and average body build(overweight in the US half of the times, and obese one third). But then we'd have to cut in the free market because me fears boys just wouldn't spend their allowance on that. I mean, if boys grew up playing with their sister's barbies, why not like those best too?

Perhaps the easiet thing would be to have a girl first. So that the girl can punch her little brother if he tries to steal her barbie dolls.

Women doesn't have any practical use? Are you crazy? What would we do without women? Seriusly. Just millions and millions of ugly fucking men walking around.

Umm... so women's practical use would be walking around? :o

I don't care if normal guys read playboy either, but it makes some guys (like the stupid ones in my class) think that there are lots of these barbielooking girls and that all other girls are not good enough for them. For example one of them once said "girls are either really hot or they are ugly".

...plunging a knife into our wrists :b

I personally don't see anything wrong in that :rage:

But seriously, people, we are way off topic here. We were talking of not being in love with WoT. I for one admit that I have lost my interest. I only want to read book 12 because after tormenting myself so much, I just have to know what happens. And, of course, there are any number of enduring characters.

After book 5 everything went totally haywire. And even bringing Moiraine back/not back has been stretched so far that at one point I thought, "Oh, just tell us she's dead and get on with life!" :o

I for one do NOT want the series to end in the next book!

It needs to get better before it can end! And I don't think he can fix everything in one book.

When I saw him speak at ComicCon last year, he said that book 12 will wrap up the storyline, but he isn't going to make it one of those lame, over-used "happily ever after" endings that solves every single mystery in the book. He said he wants to leave us with a world that is "still kicking". He also hinted that he may say outright who killed Asmodean.

I always secretly hoped that it was Mo or Lews Therin. :spank:

Anyhow, it will be good to not just wrap things up in a nice unbelievable package, but also I am worrying that his idea of ending things might mean that lots of details will be given, but not the right kind!

I think it was Graendal that killed Asmodean (feels a Split thread coming up).

I had my suspicions when I learned that she went snooping around Sammael's place in Illian after he died, looking for angreal and other useful things. And if she did that for Sammael, what's to say she wasn't poking around Rahvin's former lair in the Royal Palace in Caemlyn when Asmo just happened to bump into her.

What really sold me into the idea that is was her were two things that Lanfear and Asmo himself said.

Lanfear: In chapter 50 Traps, of TSR, before we know who Lanfear and Asmo are masquerading as, Rand has that dream where he is in the pond with the women and blah blah, then Lanfear shows up, and then Asmo *disguised as a blur* shows up and scolds Lanfear. Her retort is "Had I not hauled you out of your hole, you'd still be hiding, and waiting to snatch a few scraps." I took this to mean that (since there are many references that Asmo is a weak Forsaken) he was sort of hiding with another Forsaken or other powerful person, maybe just to keep himself safe or to try to be on the winner's good side, or perhaps that person was keeping him as a scapegoat to offer up in case of their own failure. Granted, this doesn't necessarily point to Graendal, but what Asmo said later makes it a healthy suspicion.

On another point, didn't anyone ever wonder how Kadere the merchant and his train got in the middle of the Waste without passing any Aiel, and how surprosed Kadere was to find out he was near Rhuidean. Well, the only answer to that is they Traveled. But who opened a gateway for them? Asmo or Lanfear could have easily done it, but they were disguised as a fat merchant and a gleeman, and were only going by Darkfriends high up in the ranks, a step beneath the Chosen. Kadere was shocked as hell when he learned that his partner Keille was really Lanfear. What does this all mean? That another channeler had to open the gateway for them....and I'm guessing it was Graendal.

In TFoH, chapter Pale Shadows Asmo gives himself away. He imparts words of wisdom to Rand with "I came across a saying in Arad Doman"....BINGO!! Now we know where he was "holed away"! It's not like after breaking free of 3 thousand years of imprisonment, that he would just go touring the world, learning of its cultures and adages. So, he had to have been spending a lot of time in Arad Doman to learn that, because RJ doesn't make mistakes like that. And guess who else just happened to be in Arad Doman: Graendal! Because we well know that is where she keeps her little orgy palace and that she has a hold on the King of Arad Doman and his top general.

Ok, so what? They were in Arad Doman together...romantic. No! Asmo obviously learned too much while he was "under Graendal's wing" or simply leftover knowledge from his Age of Legends life, and when she just happens to see him in Caemlyn (or perhaps she knew before then) she knows that he has betrayed the Dark and has to be silenced before he leaks important info about her and the bigger secrets of the Shadow to Rand. So, she kills him instantly with the Power.
