I was referring to Shakira dancing the Sa'saara, but I would'nt mind somebody dancing for her songs, "Ojos asi" for instance.....

 

Its a big thing in indian movies....... doing an 'item number' or a guest appearance in a song....

I don`t know why but every time I play or listen to the song, I think about her.

Vermilion by Slipknot conjures images of the battle royale that Rand al'Thor had with Asmodean in Rhuidean, and the burning of Avendesora.

 

Also, I remember reading Robert Jordan use the phrase "riders on the storm" or something similar to it when Rand and the Asha'man were riding their mounts together under saidin umbrellas on the way to fight the Seanchan, and so I have an image of that whenever I turn on that song by the Doors.

Looked it up and YouTube and I have to agree. (I do that back to back thing with songs I like too!)

 

Three Days Grace - Animal I Have Become, makes me think of Rand's slow descent into madness and lack of humanity, but it also could apply to any formerly-innocent character that learned to live with the fight against the forces of evil and their own inner demons (like Perrin, etc.) (I first heard the song on a Xena music vid )

I am bad and find songs that remind me of wotty people within whatever genre I am listening to at the moment, whether or not that style fits them. :/ Northern Lad by Tori Amos reminds me of Mo and Lan!

Keeping the Lan theme, ever since high school (oh I am so old) I've thought Dave Matthews Band's "Where Are You Going" was so Lan+Nynaeve.
