I would find a way to get her back to randland. And a way so I can go ot Randland too. Then I would kill Thom with a hammer, after I have desecrated his harp or whatever it is he plays again.

Then I would find Loial and yank on his eyebrows, because I always wanted to do that.

After that I would probably visit people from the books, learn how to channel, discreetly steal one of Rands sa'angreal.

Maybe join the DO for a week just so I can lay waste to a city to get out some built up aggresion.

You'd actually wanna live in a time where they don't have running water, plumage or electricity?

Add to that, that you are probably not educated to do any sort of work there except maybe serving drinks or cleaning chamber pots.

That'd probably be a hard life with 12 hours work a day at least... some really lousy place to live and only fresh veggies and fruit in certain seasons.

And no antibiotics, so if you get sick or get an infection you might even die... especially if they got germs we don't.

So *Accuses* you are just thinking the grass is greener on the other side. It isn't... life is what you make it. And in order to be happy in Randland, you'd need to work for it the same way you'd need to work for it here. *nods*

Wow, Nik just said something wise.

:dizzy::wow::razz:

Say it ain't so!!! *looks to see if sky has turned bright green* He raised a valid point though. It's like the story of the Prince and the Pauper, sometimes you want to change everything about your life when really you just need to work harder to be happy or maybe take a vacation from the norm for a while.

WoT would be a FUN vacation though! *has already picked out feather dancer outfits for her servants* :D

Indeed I am. I am willing to risk being miserable in Randland for a chance of being happy in Randland though. Or any other place.

I'm sorry...chamber pots? You people are actually willing to use a pot and then stick it back under your bed?! And if you are novices, guess who gets to clean it...and someone else's too!

I don't think people are actually thinking clearly about this. You can't speak nor read the language in the Westlands. You only understand the mere surface of any culture there, and even that is stretching it. You have no marketable skills in this world unless you can sew, but then, you'd need to know how to use their measurements and *gasp* speak their language enough to figure out what they want. So you really would be stuck on a farm from dawn till dusk.

Unless your name is Nynaeve al'Meara or Siuan Sanche, you're going to be stuck in training for Aes Sedai-hood for 10 to 20 years. But then, those are estimates for natives of the world. Since you don't know the language, and since no one in the Westlands has training on how to teach someone a foreign language, you might as well add another 5 to 10 years to the 10/20 at least. Aes Sedai usually lead boring lives (with chamber pots!) and the ones that don't have a habit of dying. Painfully. Unless they are main characters which you would not be.

And don't say "I'll reinvent blah blah with blah blah blah" because without the education you get in this place, you won't be able to magically just reinvent something.
