When Alex is bored.

I was bored today so I decided to write something. It turned into a short story about Perrin and the last battle. Not very good but it took 20 min to write so I'm pretty satisfied.

The battle had been raging for hours now, maybe even days, Perrin had lost the concept of time with the first beaked head he crushed with his hammer. The first lines of defence on the flank Perrin had been placed in charge of had crumpled and he had been forced to join the fighting, something that Mat had told him was the last thing a commander should do.

But every time I try to write a happy story it becomes terribly sappy!

Sappy is good though... well maybe not very good. Your story is good though. If it wasn't it wouldn't have been able to make a sad ending sad.

Oh, I liked this very much, Tosh. Some of the oaths really made me giggle, and the story has a nice sad ending that was still touching!

I want to write another WoT fanfic and I need help. I can't decide who/what/when I'm going to write about. I was thinking maybe a story that centers on a group of soldiers in lets say the red hand, or maybe some veteran swordsmen from shienar. Or one of the main characters. Maybe I'll make a story about Rand where he is not a total bitch. See! I need help! Pweese

It's amazing how that works in real life by just not listening to certain individuals... (guilty of tuning out)

 

I'd like to see the good-Rand fic, just too see if it can be done.
