I've always loved the Hannibal Lecter movies. The first one atleast, I think they changed the second too much from the book.

 

Oh and the movie Hero is awesome, as is a moderaty new Jet Li movie called Fearless.

I saw this film called "The barbarian invasions (les invasions barbares)". Its pretty good. It is the academy award winner for the best foreign language film of 2003.
