Brandon Sanderson writing Book 12

Recommended Posts

Well this IS an interesting development.

Come come my friends, it's too early to be truly dismayed. I doubt anything important will be lost (as I account the return of Moiraine important). At least we get the story, albeit not by the Creator's hand.....but Maybe that only enrichs the title "Memory of Light". Fatalistically I rejoice in that. Maybe Jordan would too..........under the circumstances.

That and the fact Harriet is still the editor.........I think she played a large part in the series charm from the beginning. I'm just glad it WILL be done.

Ugh, that's a horrifying thought! Though I am, like Laura2 and Tosh, a bit worried about his love for Perrin too. I guess we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed.

I checked out his website. Some of his books sound interesting. I might see if the bookstores have him...

I hope RJ's written the Moiraine parts and the ending bit. I don't know if this guy will get her right. ;P If he makes her sappy... so help me!

There doesn't need to be any more Perrin. His story was dragged out five books too long. The Faile rescue could have been handled in four chapters. One in the beginning of 11th book, one somewhat in the middle, and then two right after each other toward the end. Or something like that. :( In any case there was no need to drag it out.

After reading bits of his writing I think he will do a good job. It is strange to go to his forum and see his fans talking about wot fans though!

I wonder if RJ's assistant or Harriet will able to best help with the Moiraine parts? Sanderson likes female heroes. *hopeprays*

So I finished Mistborn, the Brandon Sanderson book I was reading, I was very impressed. The characters are well developed considering its only the first book and I was impressed with the world Brandon has created. Overall I would recomend the book. So I feel the WOT is in safe hands. The only thing I am a tad worried about is how Sanderson will handle the multiple story lines in a memory of light, but I think it should be allright.
