The Unfinished Unreleased Thread inspired this one.

 

So here's yet another game of Whimsy by your Forsaken Gleeman!

 

Ekho and Maire pointed out to me that RJ was vague about his later titles (revealing nothing of their content) This got me thinking... It could be fun to RENAME the books we so enjoy.... Making them a little more literal, or simply putting greater importance on a different part of said book.

 

I'll go first-

 

TEoW- Long walk to Destiny

TGH- Wheel of Fortune

TDR- The Forsaken Rise, Moiraine catches a fish!

TSR- When Mirrors Attack!

TFoH- The Lighting of Heaven, In the Dragons Wake

LoC- Law and Order, of The Aes Sedai

CoS- Mat gets Nailed

PoD- The Bowl of Winds Unleashed (Finally)

WH- Blazing Beacon

CoT- Hey Look! A Blazing Beacon

KoD- Letters from an Aes Sedai

 

These are just a start. Anyone got a better one?

Something I found hilarious was when someone in a book used the title in a sentance. It was always entirely inconsequential and yet theer was a huge amount of foreshadowing. Not even the conversation it was used in had any real importance.

 

All it served to do was to give some meaning to the title and he would have been more subtle about it if he had added a "DUN DUN DUUUN" after the words had been spoken..Or written...Something.

Well, its been quite a long time since I read the books and I just remember the storylines. I am not even able to recollect what event happened in which book

Well I'm glad this game warrented comment anyway. Never know how things will play out. I'm almost through CoT, Yeah!

I pretty much hate all the Aiel except Amys and my sim version of Aviendha. I want the Wise Ones to get over themselves.

I'm gonna have to agree with Marie on this, all the Aiel should go down, but the characters I hate them most have to be:

 

Rand (what a surprise )

Egwene

then its a toss up between Rand's Harem, Faile and Perrin

Rand's an honorary mention. He sucks, but I'd be happiest if the others were gone from the books first. Also, the completely boring rest of the Forsaken.
