I've already thought on naming a child Moiraine. (middle name maybe,) I don't have children yet, but I'm hoping to when the stars align the right way!

I don't know if I would name a child Moiraine. Depending on how you say it the name can be difficult yet pretty or strange and sugary sweet. Its also very easy to shorten for nicknames.

But even people with what we'd call "normal" names get misprounanced all the time....*shrugs* just how people are. It is pretty.

 

and I've never really thought about it. I don't really think about having kids. and I"ve always thought about boy names. I think Perrin would be cute. Mat is obviously a common name in places already, tho with two T's.

I've been thinking about it recently, and if I ever have a girl I'll probably just bite the bullet and make her first name Moiraine.

I don't believe in souls...and what everyone says is good to have is spirit anyways. And everyone always goes, "Wow, he's so spirited!" when they see me.

And ha! Me dreamed Marie had a baby but it wasn't a girl at all. Guess who the daddy was! So there might be no need to prepare girl names....although Marie's particular L-name works for boys too.
