jan 14
Hey, Laura, how's Oxford? Forgotten us already? @Kate: Let's just say I can't go into the details here
Cerendrallion 32
I'm glad to have returned! Oxford is absolutely amazing! I love it, and can't wait to get back after Christmas, even if I am knee-deep in books and essays. Am directing a play next term and am absolutely terrified, but in a positive sort of way! How is everyone?
Tosh 8
How is everyone? I am sated on cat shaped buns my beautiful friend and were I a lesser man that warm feeling of contentment would have melted away to envy's foul presence. But as it is temporary contentment and respite reigns and I feel many happy warm fuzzy things from reading of your success and happiness. Hows the library at Oxford? Is it one of those huge mahogany ones with the gold and green lamps that you see in the movies?
jan 14
Am directing a play next term and am absolutely terrified, but in a positive sort of way! Ooh, that's exciting! What's it about and are you the playwright? (Playwright... nice word, isn't it?) My news: 1. My next book is in production (typesetting). 2. I am officially not married any more. 3. I might be on the verge of getting involved in a long-distance relationship.
Tosh 8
2. I am officially not married any more. Holy f*ck. Marriage.
Sivart Reborn 7
121 miles is long distance when you're both 17 and too busy with school to get licences, jobs, or alternate means of transportation. Alas, it could get much worse for me, though. @Jan Anyway, Jan, first, you were married? Second, go Jan, get back in the game! Third, yay! BOOK! @Laura Oxford, eh... I like the sound of that. I hope you're enjoying it as much as you seem to! Semester's over, and I have a 4.48 GPA, plus a headache to boot!
AshSnow 0
Tosh your poetry makes me weep from it's beauty. Even if I can not understand it in this life and time. Finals are done wooo! Jan o.O Yay! Sivart...so....your one of them. Ouch on the headache For me..finals are done. Work is well (Except for my utterly stupid supervisor). And I shall have a lot more time now. And I just finished Vol. 10 of WoT!!
Sivart Reborn 7
I'm officially declaring my re-read of the Wheel of Time now. Anyway, fairly soon this resting is going to get boring... -sigh- I need something new to do.
Brynefan 2
We were putting up the Christmas tree today, but before we could get it inside my brother had to saw off some of the bottom. The entire tree came crashing down on my head when he was done and scratched my forehead. Blood!
Olivia 26
Ouch I believe head wounds bleed alot even if they aren't serious. Hope you get better soon, Brynefan! You can tell everyone at Christmas that you got that dashing cut on your forehead from battling Trollocs.
Brynefan 2
It wasn't deep at all. It continued to itch for an hour or so. Spruces don't weigh much, but the needles can be sharp.
jan 14
Ouch. Sounds terrible though. I hope you're okay.
Kaitlin 22
That does sound like it would sting awful. *wince* I hate the holidays. Every year back home I have to drink a courtesy cup of this nasty homemade eggnog without even any booze in it.*gag* I'm lactose intolerant but they do not care. Then, I quietly go upstairs and am sick, without even being drunk about it. *too much information*
Brynefan 2
Non alcoholic eggnog? D: Why would anyone do that and expect people to drink it?
Kaitlin 22
It perplexes me too. D: I mean, the alcohol distracts from the eggnogginess. I'd gladly drink the opposite of non-alcoholic eggnog.
