It's because his head is far too big for a man who's said to be above 6 feet tall. He's only 7 heads tall, which makes him about the height of Nynaeve Also, the perspective is askew, so the woman would actually be taller if they stood side by side.

The Rand on that cover doesn't look like an emperor. He looks like the captain of the football team from some shitty fifties movie.

Yes, it does seem I was granted serendipity. And Moiraine would be a slightly embittered single woman, secretly yearning for the fisher Siuan while being courted by and expected to start a relationship with the formerly famous singer, Thom.

 

She'd also be very active in a sowing circle together with Siuan and other women around town. They met through the knitting/sowing circle actually.

 

Could women be police officers in the fifties? Because that'd be a nice way to squeeze Lan in there. I also can't remember the difference between knitting and sowing so I don't know what'd be more appropriate.

 

I'm actually in a lot of pain right now, which is probably why this post came out sounding innapropriately serious.
