@Ekho, Yes, Asmodean dervies from Asmodeus. Some believe the Demon of lust is one of the manifestations of Satan. Kind of like the idea of Legion (We are many) or the seven deadly sins being the seven faces of Lucifer. It depends on which theology we're looking at. I'm Forsaken. One thing I picked up right away in EOTW is that he uses Shaitan for Dark One, which is how you say Satan in Arabic. Jordan actually has quite a few names in the series that are Arabic/Islamic but you'd probably think he just made them up if you weren't already familiar with them Some of the top of my head are Ayesha, Elyas, Bashere, Taim...
