It'd also be incredibly late for him to realize he could, especially with all that's gone on in the series for it not to happen til now.
On a side note, I really don't like how the Thom x Mo thing came to be. Much too... "I lightly touched on this 7 books ago, now it's suddenly going to be a major plot device."

I have recently learned that my grand AP Literature assignment next year is a bulky poetry mess... And I just don't have it.
Anyway, a little practice and a little thing for this slowly decaying topic.
I like Asmo's little ditty. It's encouraging.

I made a move to switch to Black Tower, after the purple actually began to hurt my eyes (odd, I know) when I realized it was gone, and I have no idea of how long.
So I went to the style that made the most sense to me, Kesiera. Now, I liked the new theme, it just didn't seem to agree with my head... *shrug*
Anyway, what brings on these new themes, they always take me by surprise.

Great adaptation, as far as those go.
Too much blue man, though, much like the source material.

Sword of Shannara is almost a carbon copy of LoTR, but his later books (starting with the next in the series, actually) includes at least 1 major female character.

V Will agree that the ending should be climatic and somewhat depressing, so as to set up for additional novels, or give Jan a rep for sad endings.
