I sorta liked Elayne at one time. Then she came back as a major character. I stopped liking her at all.
Although I agree, she's far too perfect. It's actually sickening, I would say.

I'm borrowing the book from a friend who bought it this weekend. I haven't bought a WoT book since Momo left us, but from the sounds of it, this is probably the best one since Lord of Chaos (which I didn't like that much anyway). The first ones though, are very excellent, and I hope I'll get a feeling of urgency again.

While that would be cool, and very enlightening, I am kind of glad I don't have every story detail given to me now. In a way. At the same time, I would've been very interested in the Tam storyline, and the end of the Mo and Lan thing.

Yay for you Jan! Not so much for me.
Stumbling about joining essay contests I have a low chance of winning is rather exciting, intimidating, and rather frightening all at once. And, it is a pain in my butt to look up financial aid. I need it though, so alas, c'est la vie.
