When I realized she was intelligent, which was pretty much when she first graced the page. Thom was up there too. Lan lost my love when he fell for someone half his age with inadequate reason. For this same reason, Rand has always lagged.

Absurdly enough, my first reaction to seeing I had missed a birthday was to post something about sinking my teeth into whoever it was that I had not wished happy birthday. In lieu of the fact I doubt Olivia would appreciate me nom-ing her, I wish her a late happy birthday as well.

My exposure to anime is mostly kiddie stuff from when I was about as high as my knee is now. Although I like some anime movies. Or movies done in anime style. Or a style that reminds me of anime. Like Howl's Moving Castle.
I still occasionally rewatch the really old Pokemon episodes (Ash, Misty and Brock only) for the nostalgia.

I watched Splice today.
It was not scary at all. But I had a hard time digesting it. The movie seemed to be about a little bit of everything, from gene splicing, to parenting, to basic freudian psychology, to general jump scares.

I actually am scared of how this scene will turn out. Jordan/Sanderson (okay, Sanderson did nothing to alter my opinion of anyone actually thus far) actually managed to make me dislike most of the characters on some level, the AS in general especially. I love me some Mo, and I can't stand Cad, but Mo vs. Cad can't end pretty.
(and I thought Cad butting heads with Tam was ridiculous...)
