I also admit that I don't remember what happened to Moiraine's horse...
Mistress Kaitlin was right, Aldieb is in the stables at the Sun Palace, I was reading a question posed to RJ and that was his answer.
I was born into a Catholic family, too. But I didn't run away. I just never believed.

*claps for the poets*

It's just because Moiraine's sex life is the most interesting and important subject there is to talk about.

Levvy- *bites neck a little bit hard* Halloween is over and I can bite random people no more!
Says who? I won't stop you.

ooh, bite me please. *offers neck and other areas*
I carved a pumpkin. The face was supposed to be a vicious cat, but ended up looking like a cat that had smashed its face into a window...

I agree with Kaitlin.
I think Kate Beckinsale is more of a physical type. She looks great running around with guns and swords kicking monster ass, but that's not who Moiraine is.
Moiraine is an observer, a manipulator. She is at her best when she sits back and controls a situation or a character. Moiraine wears dignified silk dresses, not leather outfits or unlaced blouses and boots. I just don't see Kate Beckinsale as her.

I confess Rand and his three hos makes me see red. I cannot stand reading any of those sections.
I couldn't agree more.
I confess I find RJ's desire to pair off every main character with someone quite irritating. You aren't alone in your irritation, Laura. We should send RJ a formal letter of protest.

Congrats, Ajit!
Well done.

For the hundredth time, Obsidian Butterfly by Laurell K Hamilton
I liked the Anita Blake series up to Book 8. In my opinion, things went downhill after she slept with Richard, and the ardeur thing is just terrible.
But I enjoy the earlier books, and I'm now reading Circus of the Damned again.

I confess I agree with Jan about Faile. She makes Perrin wear a disgusting beard (although he is too much of a pussy to say no).
I confess the Seanchan are my least favorite people in the entire series.
I confess I think the Aiel are sick fools. One guy cuts down a tree and so they ravage a nation and kill thousands of innocents who did nothing but have pale skin.
-
It wasn't clear. Sometimes "a storm is coming" referred to the Seanchan (like when they were in Ebou Dar just before the bugheads came), or just bad happenings like wars or battles. Nynaeve's talent is far from specific though, and I personally liked it more when it referred to weather.

I confess when I went to an RJ booksigning/lecture I thought he was a funny (as in humorous) guy.
I confess I wanted there to be Nyn/Egwene and Tuon/Selucia.
I confess I LAUGHED OUT LOUD when we found out Elaida has/had a woman lover. That scene in KoD where the new Keeper walks in on them and makes a comment about it looking like a seduction was my fav part of that book.
I confess my favorite reltaionship in the books (other than Siuan/Mo) is...... Lina/Therava.

Welcome, Tosh.
I agree with Ekho, I'd prefer if she were still living. But it is an interesting point, and I also agree with the fact that she should definitely qualify.
-
NS needed more Siuan/Moiraine. *nods*
I confess that the cover on Lord of Chaos is the crappiest book cover I've seen. It looks like some fantasy romance novel, like "Untamed Warrior Warder" or "Burning Inside Aes Sedai".
-
I confess I wanted Cadsuane to be Black so she could get wtfpwned by Nynaeve.
I confess I thought/think Verin is one the most annoying, controlling Aes Sedai in the book. (And maybe Black Ajah too!)
-
the Hellsing manga. I'm on book 6 now.
Ekho, did you mean Strange Candy?Hard Candy, Laurell K Hamilton -
I confess I agree with Kaitlin's 4th point.
I confess that Momo/Siuan is my favorite part of the entire saga.
I confess that I liked reading that part with Tylin and Mat over and over and laughing hysterically and the dumbass he is.
I confess how much I hate Cadsuane, even though I know she has many fans here.

Score 1 for Mea.

She might put the story in her signature and post in all the threads repeatedly and send us all 10 PMs!!!
*squeals in fright at the possibilities*

O_0 You mean me, Olivia?
Or that actress in the picture is named Olivia?

She had a viewing that Darlin would become King of Tear.
And in response to Marie's suggestion, when Egwene was in the rings she could still see things that were real that they didn't know.
For example: 13 myrdraal + 13 Black Ajah can turn someone to the Dark. Egwene was threatened with that, and when she comes out she asks Sheriam if it could really happen. Sheriam says that few actually know the truth, that it IS possible. And what about that gentling ceremony? She knew the words for that, though I'm sure Egwene has never attended something like that.
I'm thinking that the Portal Stone did the same sort of thing; intertwined different worlds for a brief while, so they saw what was real and COULD have happened.
As for the agelessness of Egwene's keeper even after she is stilled; maybe that's another little mistake, or something he hadn't perfected that early in the series.
-
New mistake I noticed.
When Rand and the others go through the Portal Stone in TGH, and it freaks out and gives them views of alternate lives, in one of them Rand is a guard in the Caemlyn Guards (What Might Be, pg. 530 in mine).
He finds himself looking at Elayne and thinking that his life should be different, and he also remarks that "she married a Tairen prince, though she did not seem happy in it."
Tear does not have princes! They are ruled by the council of High Lords, not royalty. Even the son of a High Lord wouldn't be referred to as a prince, but as a lordling or young High Lord.

Or she could take Kaitlin's signature's hint and go with Thom/Rand/Mo...... I, however, would have to leave the forum for a while and spend some months in a recovery home.
