I don't really know what to call them. Besides hos. Anyway, is there one girl you think is better suited for Rand? OR you just like more. I, personally, think he should just stick with Min and be happy. She's pretty much the only one he's actually built a relationship with!

 

Having said that, I hate Min because all she does is get in the way. If she stayed home and let Rand have his way with her, fine, but following him around to be annoying isn't helpful. I have never liked Elayne. Ever. And thanks to outside forces I shall not mention, I have recently become an Avi fan. Thus, my vote is for her. Because she is my favorite. And that is the name of this thread.

I don't love any of them a whole lot... they never really registered with me as true characters, I guess. More like means to create a tricky love thing with Rand.

Yes you did! You said Min is annoying... and I kinda agree. Especially with the knife up the sleeve things... I mean, is there some WoT character who doesn't keep knives?

 

And as to Elayne, she's all princessy... I think she'd get along with Moiraine kinda well though.

 

I don't love Avi but she seems down to earth and well,... I guess that's enough for me to vote for her over the other

Well, they are related. Some of the things (OK a lot) that annoy me about Moiraine I see in Elayne too. Maybe it's genetic.

I am also not a fan of Rand and his coterie of concubines.

I dislike all of them for various reasons, most already stated above. The one I find most tolerable is Min, maybe because she is practically the only woman in the series that can't channel (except Faile but I hate her too), so that makes her kind of different. I also like that she dresses like a boy and doesn't faint over "modesty" like all the other female characters (honestly, the whole 16th century view of modesty in the books really gets on my nerves).

But overall, none of the three are likable to me and dont even deserve to be compared to the great Moiraine.

I used to like Min, esp. when she wore clothes that were comfy. But when she started to wear tight pants, heeled boots and stupid shirts...yeah I lost respect for her.

I vote for Aviendha because I like her the most. I used to like Min most but she went from an independent, thinking human to a silly, simpering, arm-hanging idiot! As for Elayne, I liked her in book one, thought she had promise, but the character never did develop.

 

I guess Avi basically gets my backing because I can't stand the others!

Well... I'm voting for Elayne mostly because she's the funniest excuse out of the three.

 

Min is just a sad case, I didn't like her the moment I read about her. She just really didn't seem all that smart, I did like the fact she thought for herself, but she fell in love with R-boy only, only because she thought she was going to. If she hadn't had that particular viewing, I don't think she'd ever give him a second thought. That respect made me lose respect (odd sounding, isn't it) for her character.

 

Avi... I just plain don't like Aiel, any Aiel, period.

I said Avi....cuz Aiel are cool. and he's part one. And she can kick in shape when he starts slackin off. And yeah....that's all I really got. *lame* Oh, and she gots red hair. And Min....she's just good for sex, and Rand can get that from nearly any woman. so yeah.....like I said. Avi.

I'm a Min fan, right from the start.

 

Though why any of them would want Rand is beyond me. I mean, he's handsome enough, and at one stage he was nice enough, but he's too hard now for me to believe any woman would Love him. He gets harder and harder, pushes people away, and they love him all the more.

 

Or am I just strange?
