Not only do all Damodreds look alike, all Cairhien look alike. In fact, they aren't even human but aliens. Big eyed aliens who don't blink enough.

The nobles in RJ's books don't seem to have too much trouble with inbreeding. This is probably because he believes this to be an icky thing.

 

Yes, they are not aliens, but small faeries pretending to be people. They are called, "Small Per'verts Who St'are" faeries and usually live cuddled up on many layers of silk. So, Olivia was partly right in mentioning silk, as was Marie in suggesting they are not human.

In the comic both Mo and her father have very bold noses that look the same. Since Galad is pretty much looking the same he probably has it, and Caraline looks almost identical so she must also.
