For Rand I was thinking Chace Crawford, I think he can act but also he looks perfect for the part

 

Someone I know suggested Jonathon Rhys Meyers as Galad simply because he is so effeminate, so I thought Id post him up here and get some feedback.

 

My last Idea was Claire Forlani for Siuan. Not only is she a great actress, but she fits the part physically as well.

Well, to be fair actors very rarely play people they are old enough/young enough to be.

Just look at Indiana Jones. If Sean Connery were Harrison Ford's father, he would have been twelve or something when the latter was born. It's not impossible, but horribly wrong.

 

Clive Owen looks right, somehow. He is a bit young, but you can't really expect a WoT film some time soon. If ever. Just imagine him eight or so years older. It could be done in a few minutes with the right cosmetics.

 

There are undoubtedly better options out there. If there would be films or series I would vote for totally unknown actors. This is just comparing appearances.

Jonathan Rhys-Meyers looks girly and I approve.

 

Claire Forlani looks like she could play sarcastic well. I forget what she was like in movies, but I approve too. *giggles*

You put David Tennant as Padan Fain?!!! Are you basing that on him as Barty Crouch, Jr, in Goblet of Fire? Well, he's a decent actor and should be able to pull it off, but... what a waste!

I don't know which Laura you were refering to , but i agree Jan, David Tennant would be wasted as Padan fain, not to mention the fact that I would have thought he was too young
