I have always had a theory about this, ... she will be bound to the wheel like the others - Arthur Hawkwing, Birgitte, etc.

She sacrificed herself for Rand. She destroyed evil whenever she could but wasn't humanly evil like the Shadar Logoth people. Her character is heroic. *nod* She should be bound to the Horn for those reasons as well as having killed at least one Forsaken and probably two.

I thought they led numerous heroic lives because they were bound to the Wheel; That you only needed to show great heroism in one life to prove yourself, then you naturally are heroic in your other lives. At the end of TGH just after the heroes are summoned, Artur Hawkwing says to Hurin that "Sometimes the Wheel adds to our numbers" and that perhaps Hurin will become bound to the Wheel someday. Being bound has to start somewhere, so maybe this life was Moraine's start.

 

And for all we know, Moiraine has led other heroic lives and just doesn't remember her past lives like all normal WoT people don't. Maybe some of the great historical queens or female generals or peacemakers or someones that are mentioned from time to time were actually the woman we now know as Moiraine.

All the Heroes knew LTT. That's where they got their start. RJ has said that not everyone in the series is someone reborn.

I'm not sure Moiraine lives up to the other heroes... she's just an average Aes Sedai when it comes to power. Perhaps even less than that. There has been such a power inflation throughout the books. Now every new character is twice as powerfull as everyone else... anyways, that's what I vaguely remember.

 

Anyways, what have Moiraine really done? It seems she's not been doing more than the rand-trio girls. So if she were a hero then they'd probably all be too.

The only person i could really see becoming a hero of the horn ( besides the three taveren) is Min...and even then I think thats only because she one of the few non-channeling main characters

What is the definition of a Hero to everyone else?

Rand. I know that's cheap, but really, at this rate everyone in the story will be a hero of the horn.

Yep, Moira definitely justifies an inclusion into the Heroes of the horn.

 

As for her being not very strong, I have a theory ... when lanfear came out of the finnland as cyndane, she was not as strong as she was before. Is it because something happened in there or because her ability to channel somehow got exchanged with that of moiraine's ?

It couldn't be that their strengths were switched, Cyndane is supposed to be stronger than Graendal, which Moiraine was not
