Ishmael Moridin 0
A black cobra? Sounds really cool And nice new sig, Ajit. Yep, it was about 10 foot long. Here's another incident that happened to a close friend of mine. He was going out to get something and when he got to the gate, he found that a snake had wound itself around the gate's locking mechanism and was sun-bathing. As for the siggie, I don't know who made it, but its awesome
Ekho 52
I don't mind snakes, I got to hold a python at the zoo once, it was pretty strange
Marie 73
As for the siggie, I don't know who made it, but its awesome Oh I never did answer you! I made it. *nods*
Sivart Reborn 7
What did you get!! She gave me a little notebook to keep ideas in! We see snakes around here a lot, but I haven't seen any yet. Well, actually, I did, but I get the feeling it was owned by someone. So... Yeah, no snakes yet. And it's almost summer. Odd, no?
Kaitlin 22
She gave me a little notebook to keep ideas in! That sounds nice! There was a black racer that had wrapped itself around the pool ladder in the pool in Florida. It was too hard to measure him while we were rescuing him but he was somewhere around seven feet! In NC there were a lot of poisonous snakes but I only ever was close to a water snake during some flooding once when it swam toward me! I just had to get out of the water fast. And those are my snake stories. They both happened in water...
Olivia 26
A seven foot snake, nice. Biggest one I've seen (outside of a zoo) was significantly less than that. Never seen a water snake, but I don't like water, so I don't think I will go looking for one =X Sounds a little creepy to have one swim at you, Kaitlin.
Kaitlin 22
It was flooded everywhere! It wasn't scary at the time, just important to get out of the water. The black racer was really big, but all skinny. He didn't seem big to us... just a little scared and trapped in the pool. He kept trying to coil. *shrug!* Girly should tell us of snake stories. I bet there are mean ones where she lives. But even meaner snakes live with Ajit and Jan, so them first.
Tosh 8
Oh yeah? Well I was bitten by a snake once. I died and now I'm a ghost. Beat that.
Ishmael Moridin 0
@ Marie : Thanks for the siggie. Is it just me or does the robot look a little exasperated ?? @ Kait : Nice thinking with the black-racer. I would have waited so that it came near and I could pet it Here's another one. A snake had come to a neighbour's house once. It was a Wheat-cobra, about 6-7 foot long and very poisonous. It had coiled itself around the base of the Washing machine and was very scared to let anyone near. The snake-catcher struggled for hours to capture it. Finally when he did capture it, our neighbour made him promise that he would not kill it and would release it into the wild.

Marie 73
Hahahaha on my roommate! She took away her phone and went back home for a few days and when she walked into the room this morning she was confronted with my spare telephone. She actually stood there and looked at for a time. Clearly she hadn't been prepared for the possibility that Marie would have her own phone to use.
