well i already finished the hunger games (just book 1), and now i'm on dead as a doornail (book 5 of the sookie stackhouse books [what true blood is based off of])

Oh, I'm on book 3 of The Hunger Games: Mockinjay. I thought the second book (Catching Fire) was not as good, though.

I just finished the hunger games trilogy, I liked the first two but it was the third one that I felt wasn't as good. Have now moved on to the lies of locke lamora by Scott Lynch after amazon recomending it to me several times!

Having read all three, I felt the books steadily declined from the first to the third. I found Katniss too whiny in the third book and I wasn't sure what really happened in the end.

 

I just finished Ravan and Eddie (Kiran Nagarkar), which was good; Smitten (Ranjit Lal), which was disturbing but good anyway; and now reading 1222 (Anne Holt). The main character is a crabby, disabled, gay woman detective -- a very interesting combination. Waiting to see how it goes, but have high hopes.
