Funny Moments

Cadsuane rocks like no other. I like her handling of him. No one else has the guts to take him on - when actually he is a big damn baby.

 

Well, my mothering drive kicked in and I do feel for him in his situation. But he should have done something about Lanfear. Wrong thread.

 

His hairless bottomcheeks make me giggle.

 

Has Lan had a funny moment? I swear there was one time he made a joke. Maybe I was just laughing at him.

Yes he made a joke at the beginning of book five when they were leaving the Aiel city I can't spell. He was mocking Moiraine.

Now I want to read TDR and book 5. There were some very funny moments in those.

 

Moiraine pretending not to sweat in the sweat tents was an "Awe" moment that made me giggle a little. I can just picture her sitting all regal.

Awe, now I miss her again.

 

 

Rand actually did make me laugh when he tried to tell the Aiel his Two Rivers joke, and they did not get it at all. To be honest, I didn't think it was funny either. I got it, but eh...

I liked when Lanfear and the darkhounds came while they were in the Waste. Not that specifically, but how after the darkhound attacked Rand and Moiraine shows up and Rand is all "wth are you doing here?!" and she is all rushed and "they treat me like a wise one!" and then he runs away and she chases and stuff and like, yeah that whole chapter I liked. Not in a "hahaha" but Moiraine's actions made me smile.

She was out of breath when she got to Mat and Rand. And pissed off as all hell. That was a good chapter.

 

Mat squealed like a hamster when he was trying to pull his pants on and scratch his arm. Everyone sees each other naked in WoT. Everyone has seen Moiraine naked, and everyone has seen Rand. Every _woman_ and most men have seen Mat.

 

Really, the least Tor could have done was hire someone who was talented at black and white sketches to illustrate some scenes so that everyone could include us too.

This makes me remember the Feast of Lights in Cairhien That was an entire chapter of fun.

All I remember about that chapter was something about a Lady sitting on a servent's lap without her top on. I need to read it again.

I just read the part in LoC where Rand is talking to Bashere, Rand almost just broke one of the seals and ask why Bashere doesn't seem to be afraid of him when he just showed a bit of madness. Bashere's reply about the general he served under was quite funny xD.

That once you serve under someone mad enough to eat food they believed is poisioned...and drink vinegar and wine to cure it. And orders 23 oak trees be cut down because they look at you funny and then give them a proper funeral and the guy himself gives the oration...well...."do you know how long it takes to dig graves for 23 oaks?"

 

That's the only funny moment I can remember...even though I read the first 5 volumes and NS within the past 9 months =[
