I'll need it! Teachers are evil. 8:40am-10:50am, Calculus final. 11:00am - 12pm Physics Final. 12:10pm - 2:20pm C++ Programing Final.

 

I think I'm honestly screwed on my programming class even if I do well on the final (Though the teacher said it should be so hard none of us should do well...) because I got semi-low grades on my assignments, first for being a bit lazy, then later for turning them in slightly late . Twice I turned in a program 10 minutes past Midnight (Due @ Midnight) and the grader docked me a whole day late. -13 points . Then...the last program, which is 99.9% finished now! But 2 days late...and I found out later I was completely confused on what we were doing...so...I did more advance programming than I was suppose to, but since it wasn't what we were suppose to do, and late. I got 10/50 points for the last assignment . (I tried to Balance a Binary Search Tree...and did).

 

Worst part is, everything that needed to be in that program was, and complete, just late, late because I spent 2 days on a function trying to make it work, that I didn't even need to code....'cuz it's too hard for us. But he wouldn't accept it being late . You would think after all that effort and time, and learning a very difficult function on my own (It's not in the book at all) he would cut me some slack, even if I was a dork and it didn't need to be done~.

 

So yeah, lost 66 points from the last 3 assignments. I'll probably won't pass the class, even though I can do all the programming code~ lame. /End rant.

well, on my Calculus III test today for one of the problems I put √(9 + 16 + 1) = 5 Forgot about that 1. I e-mailed the professor and asked if he would pretend to live in an alternate reality where the square root of 26 = 5.

 

On every other test he always made nice square roots, and I got so used to it that I just forgot to use my brain and actually look at the numbers. I was like "Oh it's √25 again. Neat."

I'm too scared to comment. I have to take one programming class. Last time I took a computer programming class was spring 2001 and it wasn't a happy time.

It's not that bad, so long as you have a good book, and I use a lot of help forums (Those guys are really helpful for coding!).

So long as you don't fall behind on the assignments being lazy, like I do >_>.

*shivers* we should have some restricted part of the forum for really nasty stuff like education. And there could be a dreaded "School Random" in it.

 

I learned a tiny tiny bit of Pascal in school before I ran away But dad had already taught me Assembly and I'd done other scriptings on my own so it wasn't very useful.

So, it has been harder and harder for me to get online on blackberry and I can leave much less at work (I literally live at work). Today I hunted down someone else's open wifi connection!

 

Everyone I owe things to, I am working on them! They will get to you this weekend. In September I will get a day off each week and a wifi connection. This means modding being around each night and on Thursdays. Marie and Jan know these things but I thought it best to let everyone else know as well. Jan has volunteered to post topics. <3 everyone and miss you all!

I am contemplating getting a bicycle for some (relatively flat) trail riding. My ladyparts are worried about soreness though. Do those cushioned seats they sell actually help with that or is it just a marketing scam?
