Noway, that is fantastic! I understand Americans ordinarily drink soda to each meal? So, a week without almost makes you unamerican. Whatever you do, don't stop eating pork too or you might get in trouble

 

 

I am sorta teasing...I think. I'm tired and should go to bed :/ Anyway, congrats! I recently read that if you go without added sugars for two weeks the reward system in your brain will forget all about it and you won't have to struggle to be good.

I don't think Americans eat much pork. It's mostly beef. I don't really eat either. Just when I'm at my mom's and she makes chili or spaghetti or bacon (evil woman. j/k). I was drinking diet soda but I wanted to get rid of it to lower caffeine and all of the other bad stuff in it. I was probably drinking 48 oz/day at one point. I haven't had refined sugar since July. I thought about candy corn yesterday but the urge wasn't very strong

Eeep! You are better than me! I find it really hard to avoid refined sugar when included in stuff...like dark chocolate. Or even ordinary things like ham.

16 days and counting. I've tried to quit at least 5 times before and this is the longest I've ever gone without so I'm excited.
