Why do these Fantasy/Mid-evil type stories always have men who are unable to kill women even though they are there enemy? Even if not killing them means it will come back later to bite them.

As stupid as it is I think its this medieval sense of chivalry, which is whats supposed to distinguish between the good guys, and those not so good.

Currently reading, "Magic Kingdom for Sale: Sold" by Terry Brooks

That's the Landover series, right? I remember quite enjoying the book though for some reason never followed it up with the others.

I didn't love Magic Kingdom for Sale: Sold much much because I have attitude problems. The book wasn't bad or anything but I kept getting annoyed at the fixing broken country attitude and kept thinking it's no wonder there is war in Iraq. I'd have enjoyed the story so much more if it didn't try to do politics.
